David has been involved in creating fine furniture, carving and antique restoration, using many forms of woodworking and metal working for the past 40 years.  He is a metallurgist by trade and an expert on the metallurgy of woodworking tools.  He has a wide range of wood working skills.

 

He joined the Guild of Woodworkers in the early 1980s, left the guild due to work commitments and then rejoined in 2018 when he took semi-retirement.

 

The majority of his work has been to create fine furniture for his family’s use, plus commissions.
